Proteus Motion
Is Here.
95% of human movement happens in three dimensions. To train and assess power accurately, you have to measure strength the same way the body actually uses it — not on a machine built for one straight line of motion.
What the X-ray did for imaging, Proteus does for strength.
Proteus has developed the world's only software and database for assessing total-body physical strength in three dimensions — replacing a room full of separate machines, measuring tools, and disconnected data systems with one connected platform.
Instead of testing a single muscle group in a single direction, Proteus measures how your body actually generates power, speed, and control across every plane of movement — the same way you move on the mound, in the box, or in the field.
Why This Matters for Baseball
Pitching, hitting, and fielding are rotational, multi-directional movements. Traditional strength equipment — barbells, machines, cables — mostly tests strength in straight lines. Proteus is built to measure rotational power, acceleration, and balance the way your sport actually demands it, giving us a far more accurate picture of what's actually limiting your performance.
The Machine Isn't the Edge.
Knowing What to Do With It Is.
We're not the only facility with a Proteus Motion system. But owning the technology and knowing how to turn its data into a real training program are two very different things. We're one of the few facilities anywhere that can take your assessment results and translate them directly into individualized, sport-specific programming — not just hand you a printout and wish you luck.
Most Facilities With Proteus
Run the assessment, generate a report, and send you home with numbers. The data sits there. Your training program doesn't change. You're left to interpret a power chart on your own.
The Bullpen Approach
Our coaches are trained to read your Proteus data and immediately build it into your programming — targeting your specific weaknesses, tracking the exact metrics that matter for your position, and adjusting your plan as the numbers change.
How Your Data Becomes Your Program
Four steps from walking in the door to training with a plan built around your actual numbers.
Assess
Complete your custom Proteus Motion power assessment across major movement patterns and muscle groups.
Analyze
Your coach reviews the full report — identifying exactly where you're losing power, speed, or balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Bullpen the only place with Proteus Motion?
No — there are a small number of facilities with the technology. What sets us apart isn't owning the machine, it's our coaching staff's ability to translate your results into a real, individualized training program rather than just handing you a report.
How long does an assessment take?
Most full Custom Power Assessments take around 45–60 minutes, covering major movement patterns and muscle groups across the body in three dimensions.
Do I need to be a Bullpen member to get assessed?
No. The Custom Power Assessment is available as a standalone $125 purchase, even if you're not currently a member. Many athletes use it as their first step before deciding on a membership.
What happens after my assessment?
Your coach reviews your full report and builds it directly into your training plan — targeting the specific movement patterns and muscle groups where you're leaving power on the table.
Is this only for pitchers?
Not at all. Proteus measures full-body rotational power, making it valuable for hitters, fielders, and pitchers alike — anyone whose performance depends on generating power through rotation and multi-directional movement.
Can this help with injury recovery?
Yes. Proteus' 3D resistance allows for safer, more precise rehab work — identifying imbalances between limbs or movement patterns that traditional rehab tools often miss.
Stop Training Blind.
