Why It Matters Now

The Habits Formed Now Are the Habits That Stick.

Most youth athletes pick up their throwing motion and swing mechanics from whoever happens to be coaching them — a well-meaning parent, an overworked rec coach, or nobody at all. By the time bad habits get noticed, they're hard to undo.

  • Proper arm path and warmup habits, taught early
  • Real swing mechanics from former pro and college trainers
  • A foundation that pays off as your athlete grows and gets stronger
  • Movement skills that prevent injury before they ever happen

This is not a velocity program. Our youth pitching classes focus on command, control, and keeping a strong, healthy arm — not maxing out a radar gun. Your athlete will absolutely learn to throw harder. But the focus is on doing it the right way, so the gains last.

That's the advantage: when your athlete matures and starts adding strength, they'll already have the mechanics and habits in place to use it.

Youth Pitching Classes

Our youth pitching classes create a solid foundation through drills that promote proper arm path and control. Every class teaches athletes the importance of warming up correctly before throwing — because a lot of youth injuries and arm pain can be prevented with the right habits early on.

Your athlete will absolutely learn to throw harder, guaranteed — but this isn't a velocity program. The focus is command, control, and building a strong, healthy arm that holds up as they grow.

The result: a massive head start. As your athlete matures and naturally gets stronger, they'll already have the mechanics in place to make the most of it.

Youth Hitting Lessons
Hitting

Youth Hitting Lessons

Hitting classes focus on the drills that actually translate to contact, timing, and pitch selection — proven methods passed down from former professional and college trainers, adapted for young hitters.

Classes are also competitive and fun. We use HitTrax to turn practice into games athletes can compete in against each other — building real skill while keeping every session something kids look forward to.

FLOWS Training

Better Movement = Better Performance

Most young players struggle not from a lack of effort, but from a lack of athletic and movement skills. Baseball FLOWS builds that foundation first — so athletes move better, play better, and stay healthier doing it.

Elite players aren't built on drills alone. They're built on movement. Every Bullpen Youth class is taught by Baseball FLOWS Certified Trainers — a layer of athletic development most facilities skip entirely.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are classes?

Youth memberships are offered as monthly plans: 1 session per week, 2 sessions per week, or unlimited sessions. Credits DO NOT roll over and must be used during the billing period. There is a 7-day grace period for unused credits. See current pricing above or call us for details.

What ages are youth classes for?

Our youth program is designed for athletes from 1st grade through 7th grade. Coaches adapt every class to the athlete's current skill level and physical development — younger and newer athletes are never thrown into drills built for older, more advanced players.

Are these one-on-one classes?

Youth classes are small-group sessions, which keeps the energy fun and competitive while still giving each athlete individual coaching attention. If your athlete needs focused 1-on-1 work, private lessons with our coaching staff are also available separately.

How do I schedule a class?

Once you sign up for a membership, you can book available class times directly through our online scheduling system. Spots are limited per session, so we recommend booking a few days ahead during busy weeks.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes — memberships bill monthly and can be canceled at any time. You'll keep access through the end of your current billing cycle.

Is this a velocity program?

No. Youth pitching classes focus on proper arm path, control, and warmup habits that protect young arms — not maximizing throwing velocity. Athletes will get stronger and throw harder as a natural result of better mechanics, but velocity is never the primary focus at this age.

What should my athlete bring?

A glove, athletic shoes (no metal cleats indoors), and a water bottle. Bats and other equipment are available on-site, though athletes are welcome to bring their own preferred gear.

What if my athlete is brand new to baseball?

Not a problem. Coaches meet every athlete at their current level, and our small-group format means brand-new players get plenty of individual attention while still building confidence in a fun, team environment.
